If you answer "No" during installation, conda will not work until you manually add the PATH. You will get the error message:
conda: command not found error
How to add your PATH to conda manually
Open a text editor, go to your home directory and open the file named
In this file, add the line:
export PATH="<path to anaconda>bin:$PATH"
NOTE: Replace <
path-to-anaconda> with the actual path of your installed anaconda file.
Save the file. If you have any Terminal windows open, close them all and then open a new one for the changes to take effect.
NOTE: If after closing and opening your Terminal window conda still does not work, you may need to restart your computer.
