Using External Conda Repositories in Anaconda Enterprise

Last Updated: Mar 22, 2018 02:17PM CDT
Version: 5.1.2

In addition to providing an internal repository of conda packages, Anaconda Enterprise can be configured to use external or remote conda repositories for dependencies used in projects and deployments.

You can configure Anaconda Enterprise to point to additional external conda repositories by editing the system-wide configuration settings for conda.

Example

To enable access to a remote conda repository such as https://externalrepository.yourdomain.com/conda , you could define the following default-channels:

conda:
channels:
   - defaults
default-channels:
   - https://repo.continuum.io/pkgs/main
channel-alias: https://anaconda.yourdomain.com:30089/conda

More information on configuring repositories is available in the Anaconda Enterprise documentation.

You should always verify the security and traceability of conda packages that originate from sources other than the official Anaconda repository.

Note: Customer support is not provided for remote or third-party conda package repositories.
